Solar Energy Future

Thursday, September 3rd, 2009

It appears solar energy is becoming the new thing these days, with our sun being the most dominant source of renewable energy available to us.  People are becoming alot more conscious of the global warming and making solar energy their choice to generate power. So why would we not take advantage of the opportunities accessible to us today, when we have the chance to power our homes exclusively off the grid with free clean energy, its certainly clarifies why solar powered homes are so common today.

Take a look at another awesome article about solar energy. take a look at: Solar Energy Costs

There is a good chance in the future that our non-renewable sources of energy will be depleted, Producing
energy this way is without doubt a much healthier choice for us and our environment.

Results And Usage Of Solar Power In The Future

Solar Energy in the future will override our current sources of energy and homes shall be built that run exclusively off solar energy.

There are many uses around the home for solar power, such as cooking, heating our water and drying our clothes.  Solar powered vehicles are even being used on the roads now.

Huge industries will possibly be powered by solar energy in the future, because of these industries requiring so much power and energy the use of coal is necessary to help meet their energy needs. In the future I can guarantee you that before long all current energy grids will be replaced by solar energy systems.

Using Solar Energy is Space

Enormous quantities of fuel are required to function a space shuttle. The energy from the sun will totally control this sector in the future also.

Transportation And Solar Energy

One day oil will be worn out, transportation in the future will also be dominated by solar equipment. Like I have already pointed out earlier, solar powered vehicles are already on the roads. We have about 6 solar powered vehicles here where I reside being used on the roads.

Just a reminder for another great article about solar energy systems and how they work, this is a must read especially for those currently researching this method of generating energy. see: Renewable Energy Systems

By the year 2020, experts say solar systems will be put into action, opening numerous possibilities for solar energy in the future. People are now realizing the significance of going solar and beginning to look into using this energy.  Our non renewable sources of energy will one day be depleted. So lets start using solar energy to power our homes today.

Pollution Control

A great factor about solar power is its clean, unlike other sources of energy. The pollution rate is already quite disturbing. This beautiful planet we all reside on is little by little being destroyed, I believe if everybody considered using solar or wind energy we would undoubtedly make some difference in our health and the future of our planet.

We can begin by doing some research about solar panels and  their construction.  A simple way of generating power to your home is with solar panels and the installation is quite a simple process.  Today there are many people constructing their own solar panels, materials and equipment are very easy to come by these days.  I am certainly enjoying the luxuries of solar energy, we have managed to cut down our power bill by 75%. Renewable energy systems are the way of tomorrow and there is no doubt about it, make solar energy your choice you will be very happy with the results.

I really hope you have enjoyed reading this article, I can also give you a great head start.  I suggest you that you check out here: Build Your Solar Panels

Why Choose Solar Power

Sunday, August 9th, 2009

Many people will choose solar energy as their energy source — with good reason, however,
before you choose for your household, you need to understand what sets solar energy
apart from others.

Apparently, using solar energy is excellent for the earth. Using fossil fuels damages the earth as the fuels are gathered, as well as when they’re used. Clearly, this is not sustainable over the long term. It is people like you who will help make the earth a better place to live by using these renewable sources instead!

Another motivating reason is because you are spending a lot on energy bills per month. If you begin using solar energy, you’ll be getting energy for free instead! All you need to worry about are the startup costs, and the time it takes to build your own solar energy power system. There are

great guides out on the market that can help you with this option — and it is a lot easier than
you might be thinking. Still, there are some times where it is not a good idea for you to think about solar energy. One such circumstance is if you study other renewable sources and find that another fits your needs better than solar. Wind energy is a good example of this. Most people will find that solar energy suits them just fine if they live in areas that are not windy enough.

If you’re afraid that solar energy could not possibly power your entire home, you’re not alone. Many people have this fear because it is so unknown in so many parts of the world. Rest assured that as long as you have enough large solar panels, you could definitely run your entire home! It’s even easier, and cheaper, when you just want to use solar energy for travel purposes, such as with an RV, a boat, or a variety of other reasons.

You owe it to yourself to look into using solar power as much as possible. It is a lot easier to get started than you might be thinking, and it is certainly more economical and better for me
environment. Many of the supplies can even be found at your local hardware store. Others can be found online — making it easier than ever to get started with this renewable energy source.

All you need now are some step-by-step directions and you’ll be well on your way to having free, reliable power without having to rely on fossil fuels and your local power company (or their high bills!).

When The Oil Runs Out We Will All Have Solar Energy Panels So Why Not Make A Start Now

Thursday, June 18th, 2009

In the future we will be using solar energy to power our homes and cars. So what exactly are the pros and cons of solar energy and why should we plan to use it.

Solar panels will supply our future energy needs as they have always done really. Energy we are using today comes from the oil that was produced by the plants that the sun helped to grow. Over time that energy was concentrated and the rotting vegetation turned into oil and coal.

Oil is getting used up fast and we now understand how carbon fuels are polluting the air we need to breathe. Now we are looking to short circuit the process of converting the suns energy into electricity and bypass the need for oil by making use of solar energy collection panels.

The pros of solar energy are that it is clean and doesn’t pollute the air we breathe or the water we drink. If is free to anyone who has the energy collection facilities to collect and convert it. The last benefit is that solar systems are generally maintenance free when properly installed.

So let us look at some of the disadvantages to solar energy? Well, the main one is the cost of the equipment you need to collect enough energy to run your home. You can buy a diy solar panel kit to reduce the cost and start saving money faster. You don’t get to collect solar energy at night and even during the day solar works best in hot sunny climates.

If you begin collecting solar energy you will find that the solar panels are not very efficient at converting solar power to electricity. Buying them is quite an expensive option. The cost of purchase and installation does take a few years to recoup from the savings on energy bills.

So there are some pros and cons of solar energy panels but you try and find me another investment that once paid for gives you money for nothing and the advantages of using solar panels are easy to understand. It doesn’t take many years for the savings on energy costs to replace the money spent on purchase and installation and then it is all pure profit when we save on energy costs.

The Cost of solar energy to generate electricity

Wednesday, June 17th, 2009

Most of the electricity comes from fossil-fuels. A massive demand for electricity is there today but fossil fuel reserves are getting lesser day by day. The solar power is gaining much attention since it is generated from sunlight,a natural resource that is available in plentiful. Solar heating has been used for decades but the solar electricity is a now much in demand. We have the first fully solar powered stadium inaugurated at taiwan. The electrical use is now replaced with the desgined Solar systems that are now catching on in a very big way.

The concept of using solar power for homes has come a long way in a relatively short period of time. Solar Technology converts the sunlight into electricity through solar cells. We can make use of the generated electricity directly or store it in containers that can be used for running various applications like dishwasher, tubelights, fans,TV,computers, icemaker etc. One of the major doubts that most of the people are what is the cost of solar energy? Is it of low value or high cost? Regardiing this let me share some information.

One of the major issues with the cost of solar energy has been that it costs more than electricity that is generated by conventional means. Even though the sun energy is free, the technology to convert the same into electricity is costly. The cost of solar power for one unit is Rs 15 while it costs just Rs 1.From coal it is 19 per unit. The value of solar power depends on the amount of power used by the consumer. To get more power, the cost increases on purchasing the bigger solar panels. It will cost $14000 for installing a good home made solar water heater system. The monthly bill for heating hot water can be reduced upto 50-100%. To power a computer and a few other small items using solar energy system,it will cost you about $700 to $1000.

The cost of solar power for your home depends on how much energy in kilowatt-hours (kWh) do you use per month. Investing by Dollars per Watt is the best way to choose solar panels. The Price of photovoltaic panels have dropped at a steady rate of 3-5 percent per year since last decade. However, prices may not seem all that low to you, because in general the technology is getting better, so each panel is making more watts than those of a few years ago.

Because of strong demand for large photovoltaic installations around the world, there has been a general shortage of new panels. Local newspaper classifieds place ads on PV Panels. The Banks & Government provides loan facilities for purchasing solar lighting and heating systems. If you buy the solar panels for your house, then your insurance company also insures them, just like they insure the rest of your household items.

Now solar enterprises are spreading the awareness on the huge potential demand for solar batteries in the domestic market supported by government and implementing low priced solar technology. The energy of sun is limitless for several generations, unlike the fossil reserves that power to the countries as long the resources are available. Without leading to pollution, vast solar farms will come up in future that will be generating cheaper power for the entire city.
